Christina is the Graduate Advisor and Academic Coordinator for the Colorado School of Public Health at Colorado State University.  She is a California native who graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from San Diego State University and a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Chapman University.

During college, she was a member of AmeriCorps focusing on youth literacy programs and later continued her passion for literacy by working with a non-profit organization aimed towards assisting adults who could not read and write well enough to take care of everyday tasks.  She continued her involvement in education by being an active member of the San Diego Education Consortium and promoting higher education within the San Diego community.

Christina brings fifteen years of higher education experience working in admissions and academic advising which served both undergraduate and graduate students.  When not at work, she enjoys running, hiking, attending concerts, cooking and traveling.

Christina joined the ColoradoSPH at CSU in February of 2020 and is the primary contact for current CSU students.  With a focus on student development and support, Christina advises students on course selection and completing degree requirements, connects students to appropriate resources, manages new student orientations, and assists in troubleshooting any student-related issues.  She also supports academic initiatives including monitoring and creating course schedules for the program, and developing advising checklists and academic timelines for new academic offerings.
