As one of the largest professional development and networking organizations for the transportation industry in Colorado, WTS advances women in transportation by encouraging new professionals to undertake careers in the field. Each year the WTS Colorado Chapter supports exceptional young women as they pursue careers in the transportation industry by awarding student scholarships.

Bradyn Nicholson, a current MPH/MURP (Master of Urban and Regional Planning) student in the Physical Activity and Healthy lifestyle concentration at CSU, was recently awarded the Maggie Walsh Leadership Legacy Scholarship at the Annual WTS Awards Luncheon. Bradyn is currently the Treasurer for the WTS CO Student Chapter and works as a Planner for Bohannan Huston, Inc. Bradyn thanked Dr. Chrissy Chard as she was “an integral part of me receiving this scholarship as she wrote one of my recommendation letters”. Congratulations Bradyn!
