Urban Green Spaces: Boosting Community Well-being through Horticulture and Design

Join CSU’s School of Global Environmental Sustainability’s Global Challenges Research Team for a panel discussion on Enhancing Urban Community Well-being through Horticulture and Design

Eighty-two percent of Americans live in cities, but large cities are often considered to be places associated with increased violence and poverty. How can green spaces, such as gardens, parks, and playgrounds, make a difference? Impacts of green spaces on individual and community well-being (physical, emotional, and social) will be explored through this panel discussion.
