The Psychology Department, in conjunction with Society for Health Psychology, present the Health Psychology Series.

The series will feature, at 1 p.m., Dr. Ava Drennan, an early career psychologist working in a health psychology private practice, specializing in chronic pain management. She will be presenting on her path from an undergrad at Colorado State University to a career in health psychology.

At 2 p.m. Dr. Kevin Powell, the clinical director and a licensed psychologist for a maximum-security youth facility in Colorado, will be presenting on strengths-based approaches to health promotion. Dr. Powell serves as adjunct faculty at Colorado State University.
