This dual degree is offered by the University of Colorado School of Medicine and the Colorado School of Public Health MPH program at Colorado State University. In addition to receiving a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree, students concurrently receive the Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in a concentration of their choice.

**Applicants must be current students in their third year of the CU School of Medicine’s MD program to qualify for the dual degree program.

Curriculum

MD/MPH students at the CSU campus can select one of the following MPH concentrations: Animals, People and the Environment; Epidemiology; Global Health and Health Disparities; Physical Activity and Healthy Lifestyles; Public Health Nutrition; or a custom concentration.

The MD Health and Society curriculum (completed by all MD students) is used to satisfy the six to nine elective credits required for the MPH. Elective credit requirements vary by MPH concentration.
