The Make the Pledge to Party Smart Alcohol Campaign by CSU Health Network Health Education and Prevention Services has been awarded Program of the Month Award by CSU Housing and Dining Services.

This student-led project targeted CSU students, particularly freshmen and others under 21 to help them:

  • Learn about different ways their peers plan to take action if they see a friend engaging in risky drinking behaviors or suspect a friend may have alcohol poisoning.
  • See what fellow-rams pledge to do personally, to help them avoid risky situations and ensure they are drinking responsibly.
  • Gain ideas from the “I Will” statements and be encouraged by the “Rams Take Care, Rams Take Action” slogan to make their own pledge to be an active bystander and always take action.
